CBD e-liquid, a stupefying success
Following the continued success of the standard e-cigarette, former smokers are now testing out the “e-joint” as it continues to perform well on the market. Approximately 1.4 million French citizens smoke cannabis regularly, and not surprisingly, CBD e-liquids are hugely successful.
The molecule, derived from medical research on cannabinoids, is simply added to e-cigarette juice. CBD (Cannabidiol) is known for its anti-anxiety and calming properties; for vapers who are prone to stress, it can be used as an effective method to promote serenity and well-being. Moreover, this legal non-psychoactive substance is biologically neutral. CBD is currently the subject of numerous scientific studies studying its potential benefits for people suffering from cancer, schizophrenia, and epilepsy.
With a high cannabidiol concentration, CBD e-liquids are becoming an essential tool for reducing cannabis consumption, as well as other drugs.
The risk of making CBD popular to a vulnerable public
People who have already used an e-joint can confirm that it reduces anxiety and improves mood. Some go so far to say it is an anti-stress device, capable of combatting insomnia. With just a few clicks, anyone can visit major CBD and e-cigarette distribution sites and see the myriad CBD products available. The choice is vast and each flavour is tastier than the next: lemon-cannabis, orange-clementine-cannabis, mango-pineapple-cannabis … the list goes on. Facing such a resounding success, tobacconists are also starting to stock their stores with CBD e-liquids.
Nonetheless, not everyone is happy about these products and some people deplore CBD, which they say damages the image of e-cigarettes. Young people may be tempted by e-joints, which are not completely harmless, either.
Despite the strength of its little brother THC, it is important to note that the therapeutic effects of CBD have not yet been proven. With this in mind, it is preferable to use e-joints with moderation or perhaps not at all, until further research is completed. And don’t forget: although it is safe to vape while driving, never vape CBD while behind the wheel, as it the molecule can induce fatigue and lethargy.
