The first thing to know is that you don’t need to stop smoking before you start vaping. The first month for instance, you can try vaping while you’re still smoking. But if you can, stop smoking as soon as possible. Products that are included in tobacco cigarettes will irritate your throat a couple of weeks after you’ve stopped smoking. This means that you will cough even though you’ve switched to vaping. But once your throat has healed, the coughing fits will disappear.

The first step is the choice of the model and most particularly the flavor. You’ll need to find the e-liquid that will suit you best. Everyone’s different so you’ll most probably need to try several juices before finding the one that’s right for you. The main goals for you will be to recreate the « throat hit », this tingling feeling in the throat, and to avoid nicotine withdrawal symptoms.
